Hello !

My name's Christophe COMBET. Since October 2002, I am a research associate (CR1-CNRS) in the "Bioinformatique: Structures et Interactions team" (BISI) of "Bases Moléculaires et Structurales des Systèmes Infectieux" unit (UMR 5086 - CNRS - University Lyon 1, IFR 128 Biosciences Lyon Gerland). The team is a founder team of the "Pôle BioInformatique de Lyon" and the "Pôle Rhone-Alpes de BioInformatique".

My research field is focused on biological databases. Especially, I develop databases integrating structure and function of biological macromolecules with integrated analysis tools. My main interest is structural bioinformatics of proteins involved in infectious diseases (virus and bacteria).
